This Privacy Notice explains what personal data ToolNova (“we”) collects, why, and your rights over it. It covers this website and our software products.

1. Our software is local by design

Our desktop apps run on your own device. They do not upload your files, folder contents, or scan results to us, and they contain no advertising or third-party tracking.

2. Data we collect

• Purchase data — your email address and order details, provided when you buy through our payment processor.
• License data — the license key we issue, the plan’s device count, and a device identifier per activation (used only to enforce your device limit).
• Support data — anything you send us by email.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Processors we use

• Your bank / remittance provider or crypto network — you pay ToolNova directly; the payment details and screenshot you share (e.g. on WhatsApp or email) are used only to confirm your order and deliver your license.
• Resend — sends transactional emails (your license key and download link).
• Neon — hosts the database that stores licenses and orders.

Each processor handles your data under its own privacy terms and only to provide these services.

4. How we use your data

• To deliver your purchase, license key and download link.
• To validate license activations and enforce device limits.
• To provide support and, where you’ve purchased, service-related emails.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

5. Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies/local storage needed for it to function (for example, remembering a preference). We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep license and order records for as long as needed to support your license and to meet legal and tax requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@toolnova.org.

8. Children

Our Services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
